Job Summary
Perform management functions on such as planning, scheduling, organizing, and tracking processes, ensuring the feasibility of each project, executing project and ensuring the product success, launch product into mass production phase.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
1) Product Release to Market -40%
61 Execute the NPI project and ensure the product success.
61 Define priorities between products supports on resource (manpower), capex, test and equipment priority and setup.
61 Define schedule for NPI execution (BR, cost tracking, Capex planning, DOEs, Experiments) and provide necessary actions list for timely executions.
2) Product Cost Reduction -30%
61 Collaborate with engineering PE to define product cost reduction plan with cross-functional team (SDE, Quality, Production and RSM/PLM).
61 Define yield targets and scrap/ rework.
3) Cost Quality -20%
61 Overseeing the customer demands and requests, complaints, and customer –driven changes.
4) Mentoring and Continuous Development -10%
61 Coordinating team members to trigger the improvement activities based on market or internal needs. Define resource and allocations and supports to Engineers and Leads.
Education & Experience
61 MS/PhD Master degree with engineering background subject is needed. Candidates having suitable professional experience with a BS degree (especially ele, optics, communication major) will be considered.
61 Have experience or understanding on optical data/telecom communication industry.
61 Comprehensive knowledge of project management, PMP is preferred.
61 8+ year experience in managing/ mentoring people in the similar fields.
61 Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
61 Proactive person on communication and good at motivate people.
61 Must be self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.
61 Knowledge of industry and market trends.
