Position Overview
We seek a strategic and analytical Business Development to drive growth in the healthcare sector through rigorous market research and targeted sourcing of partnerships. This role is pivotal in identifying new revenue opportunities, evaluating market trends, and supporting data-driven decision-making for expansion initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong healthcare industry knowledge, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.

Key Responsibilities
1. Market Research & Analysis (70%)
61 Conduct comprehensive market research on healthcare trends, regulatory changes (e.g., health policies, compliance requirements), and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities
61 Analyze industry data (e.g., patient demographics, market penetration, competitor activities) using tools like Excel, Power BI, SQL, or Python to generate actionable insights
61 Prepare detailed reports and dashboards to communicate findings to senior leadership, supporting strategic planning and investment decisions
61 Monitor emerging technologies (e.g., telemedicine, AI-driven diagnostics) and assess their impact on business opportunities
2. Sourcing & Partnership Development (30%)
61 Identify and evaluate potential clients, partners, and acquisition targets (e.g., hospitals, pharma manufacturers, med-tech startups) to expand market reach
61 Develop data-driven business proposals and pitch decks for new partnerships or revenue models
61 Collaborate with sales and finance teams to assess partnership viability, including risk analysis and ROI projections
61 Support negotiations by providing market intelligence on partner positioning and industry benchmarks

Qualifications
Education & Experience
61 Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related fields; Master’s preferred
61 2+ years in business development, market research, or strategic analysis within healthcare/pharma/med-tech sectors
61 Experience with healthcare data sources (e.g., claims databases, EHR systems) and familiarity with medical terminology
Technical Skills
61 Proficiency in data analysis tools: Excel (Power Pivot, Solver), Power BI/Tableau, and statistical software (SPSS, R)
61 Competency in market research methodologies (primary/secondary research, survey design)
61 Knowledge of healthcare regulations (e.g., NMPA, FDA guidelines) and industry standards
Soft Skills
61 Analytical rigor: Ability to synthesize complex data into clear recommendations
61 Stakeholder engagement: Strong communication skills to present insights to cross-functional teams and senior leaders
61 Entrepreneurial mindset: Resourcefulness in sourcing data and adaptability in fast-paced environments
