Logistics specialist

1. Shipment tracking: Monitor shipment status against planned delivery time and provide tracking report. Generate an alarm to notify the team upon pre-agreed milestones, e.g. customs clearance or foreseen delivery impacts.

2. Transportation planning and operations: Co-ordinate among the factories (logistics/planner), warehouse, 3PL etc. on delivery plan to ensure smooth daily logistics operation.

Logistics Monitoring

1. Transportation data collect, review and update focusing on transit time: Investigate the abnormal lead time and compare actual lead time against default(/system) settings.

2. Market intelligence/government policy update: Request 3PL to provide market updates and policy changes which may impact Corning's shipments.

Qualification

- Proficient in excel is a must

- Good command of written & oral English

- 2+ years relevant experience in logistics area

- Familiar with customs clearance and CIQ process of import & export

- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication skills.
