Responsibilities:
Responsible for working with Sales to provide presales technical support and help to provide formal quotations for customers. The AE will work on diaphgram control valve, plunger valve (needle valve), free discharge valve (fix cone valve), submerge discharge valves sizing and applications.
负责与销售一起提供售前技术支持并提供正式报价给客户。应用工程师将负责隔膜控制阀, 针阀，自由式排放阀（固定锥），淹没式排放阀等控制阀的选型。
The AE will have proofed experiences on control valve not only on products but also on solution to ensure that customer questions and requests for quotes are provided.
应用工程师能提供可证明的相关控制阀产品和提供解决方案的案例及经验并能确保回复相关客户询价的问题和需求。
Do technical clarification with customer directly by phone, email and face to face communication. Provide the salesperson with confirmation that the technical issues were closed.
通过与客户邮件，电话和面对面沟通做相关技术澄清并将相关确认的技术问题技术给销售人员。
Provide solid calculation and analysis to support customer to finalize correct solution and product which contains cavitation, opening position, flow parameters, plume length & width, noise calculation and theoretical operating torque calculation.
提供详实的计算与分析，支持客户确认最终产品和方案，通过minitab, matlab计算包括气蚀计算，阀门开度计算，流量参数，喷射水流长度及宽度计算，噪音计算以及相关理论阀门操作扭矩计算。
When an order is received, the AE will have responsibility to perform a technical review of customer orders to help the Order Management Team identify a matching quote or obtain the missing information to ensure a clean order is entered and the customers’ needs are fully met.
当订单接收后，应用工程师将负责协助订单管理团队执行客户订单的技术评审并补充缺失信息确保清晰明确的客户需要与订单一致。
As required, perform future activities that will help to enhance the relationship with the customer and continue to increase the face time of the salesperson.
如需要，执行进一步有助与提升客户关系的事宜，继续增进与销售的会面。
Complete other job assigned by Supervisor/manager.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.工科或相关专业本科学位
Minimum 5-year experience in product or application engineering with at least 3 years demonstrated application/R&D experience within the control valve industry (preferred candidate worked for VAG, Singer, 株洲南方，Karon, Fisher, etc.)
最少产品应用5年工作经验其中最少3年应用/设计经验是针对控制阀
Solid technical calculation and analysis to finalize correct solution and product which contains cavitation, opening position, flow parameters, plume length & width, noise calculation and theoretical operating torque calculation

Sound knowledge of engineering theory and design practices.
良好的机械原理和设计知识
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, sound English is a plus. Interpersonal skills are critical with internal and external customers.

Project management skill is an advantage

Willing to travel/visit plant facilities and customer locations with travel requirements of up to 20%
