Day to Day Responsibilities:
Work with plant cross-function team, Division Engineering team, to provide engineering expertise for Plugging and APT process and support performance improvement.
Responsibilities include:
Support day to day production, set rigorous discipline for process control
Plan, organize and execute major projects to deliver improvement and step change capabilities
Apply knowledge of engineering principles and methods to reduce defects/upsets through root cause identification and resolution
Drive continual improvement and strive for error-proofing engineering solutions.
Requirements: Education & Experience
Bachelor degree or above in engineering (ceramic, materials, or chemical preferred)
3+ years of relevant work experience in automotive industry or any respective fields
Experience working in multinational companies strongly preferred
Requirements: Required Skills
Good command of English in both oral and written
Capable of driving continuous improvement
Technical proficiency in process engineering
Strong data analytical and visualization skills (JMP/Minitab…)
Data driven problem solving and decision making, willingness to deep dive into technical details for complex issues
Familiarity with Project Management methodologies, experience leading capital/6sigma project is highly preferred
Requirements: Desired Skills
Demonstrated technical expertise in process improvement.
Familiarity with FEMA & CP
Good presentation skills
