Quality Engineer-Package

Report to: Packaging Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1-Work as a bridge between Austrian Headquarter and China Suppliers, providing consumer packaging concepts and solutions for the European market;

2-Daily exposure to various package die cut documents and box samples for furnishing categories;

3-Drives suppliers to work on effective and efficient package solution for all categories in furnishing;

4-Provide technical solutions and work with suppliers on package improvement;

5-Supports purchasing teams on solving their technical issues;

6-Coordinate and communicate with other departments and suppliers.

Qualifications:

1-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications --> Die-Cuts.

2-CET-4, Very good English language skills both in writing and talking

3-Able to accept long-term assignments

4-Cheerful and optimistic personality, good at cross-departmental communication and team spirit.

5-Basic proficient in using packaging design software, such as: Illustrator and/or CAD software.

6-Basic familiarity with packaging materials (corrugated, plastic, foam, etc.) and sustainable packaging practices.

7-Effective communication skills
