Primary Responsibilities
61 Continuous Improvement Leader: Champion the development and implementation of a world class continuous improvement culture with measurable KPIs.
61 Process Optimization: Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Implement Lean, Six Sigma, Value Stream maps or other relevant methodologies to enhance production quality and throughput.
61 Project Management: Lead, manage and enforce accountability of continuous improvement projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Coordinate with different departments to facilitate smooth project execution.
61 Training and Development: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate staff on continuous improvement techniques. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
61 Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics tools to monitor process performance and identify trends. Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
61 Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to implement process changes. Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment with business goals.
61 Innovation Encouragement: Encourage innovative thinking among team members to develop new solutions for process enhancement. Evaluate and incorporate new technologies that could improve production efficiency.
61 Cost Reduction: Identify cost-saving opportunities through process improvements and efficient resource utilization. Present cost-benefit analyses to senior management to support proposed changes.
61 Compliance and Standards: Ensure all continuous improvement activities comply with local regulations and international standards applicable to touchscreen manufacturing.
Qualifications
61 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
61 Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
61 Demonstrated success in developing and leading continuous improvement and lean culture with measurable positive impacts.
61 At least 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on operations and continuous improvement.
61 In-depth understanding of modern manufacturing, material flow, and improvement strategies.
61 A demonstrated understanding of 80/20 and Lean principles such as Value Stream Mapping, Just-In-Time, Demand and Capacity Planning, Single Piece Flow, 5S, Visual Management, Total Productive Maintenance, Level Loading, Standard work, Kaizen, SPC, Six Sigma and Communication Tools and Statistical Problem Solving.
61 A strong understanding of ERP and technology solutions in a manufacturing environment is required.
61 Solid grasp of financial systems and key drivers within a manufacturing environment.
61 Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis software.
61 Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of leading successful improvement projects.
61 Experience of working in an international, multi-cultural environment
61 Fluent in Mandarin and proficient in English to communicate effectively with local and international stakeholders.
