Summary
DBS Technology China ( 星展科技) is looking for an energetic, motivated, and flexible Intern at the Project Management Team (PMO) team with exceptional English communication and writing skills to work alongside with line of business technology on Information Technology (IT) related projects management and business strategy implementation. We offer an opportunity to work in an international enterprise environment and get exposed to strategic projects and work in banking business area and modern information technologies. It is a great experience if you are interested to join Banking or Fintech sector.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Intern has a primary responsibility to assist in managing and supervising administrative, staff and financial aspects of projects from project inception to completion. The Intern will directly report to the PMO lead and work closely with tech head of line of business technology. Specific duties include but not be limited to:
- As a bridge of DTC PMO to line of business technology PMO communication, and as a key representative from local PMO to drive global PMO teaming communication
- Work on standards of various team management documents and support basic team strategic management activities.
- Assist PMO to follow up on staff contracts requisitions and renewal.
- Assist PMO to ensure project initiatives and staff work allocations are in sync.
- Assist tech head to ensure a smooth onboarding journey of new joiners.
- Assist PMO to ensure team monthly timesheets are correct.
- Assist PMO and Finance team to ensure monthly financials are correct.
- Provide an active role and use critical judgment in organizing team engagement activities.
- Assist to create and update management reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree. Study abroad is preferred. Study at Business School / Management related fields.
- Good at Excel data analysis and PPT.
- Good speaking and written English.
- Strong communication skills, able to articulate with outgoing personality.
- Attention to details and have a strong sense of ownership.
- Proactive, willing to take initiative to drive things.
- Passionate to learn new things. (Strategy, banking knowledge or project management skills).
