We are seeking an experienced sourcing specialist specializing in power tool, Sprinklers, hoses, lawn and garden accessories and rechargeable products to join our team. You will be responsible for supplier development, price negotiation, and product compliance to ensure purchased products meet U.S. market requirements.
Fluent English (written & spoken) and 5-10 years of relevant purchasing experience are required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supplier Development & Management
o Source and evaluate suppliers for power tool, Sprinklers, hoses, lawn and garden accessories, and related accessories, with a focus on Southeast Asia (China, Vietnam, Thailand, etc.).
o Assess supplier capabilities, including production capacity, quality control, compliance certifications, and delivery performance.
o Maintain strong supplier relationships and optimize the supply chain for stable procurement.
2. Cost Negotiation & Control
o Deep understanding of power tool, Sprinklers, hoses, lawn and garden accessories and rechargeables cost structures with strong negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing.
o Develop procurement strategies to optimize purchasing processes and reduce costs.
3. Product Compliance Management
o Familiarity with U.S. market certifications & safety standards (e.g., UL, FCC, DOE, CPSC) to ensure compliance.
o Collaborate with suppliers and QA teams to oversee product testing, certification, and inspection processes.
4. Oversee Order & Production
o oversee end-to-end procurement from order placement to delivery, ensuring on-time fulfillment.
o Understand factory operations and support troubleshoot production issues (delays, quality concerns) with the team.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Work closely with sales, quality, and logistics teams to ensure supply chain efficiency.
o Report procurement progress, market trends, and supplier performance to management.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
61 5-10 years of purchasing experience in power tool, Sprinklers, hoses, lawn and garden accessories, rechargeables, or related hardware/electronics, preferably for the U.S. market.
61 Fluent English (speaking, writing) to independently negotiate with overseas suppliers and clients.
61 Extensive supplier network, especially in Southeast Asia (China, Vietnam, Thailand, etc.).
61 Knowledge of Sprinklers, hoses, lawn and garden accessories & rechargeable product certifications (UL, FCC, DOE, etc.).
61 Strong negotiation skills and cost analysis abilities.
61 Familiarity with factory production processes to oversee lead times and quality control.
Preferred:
61 Experience sourcing for Amazon or other big retailers.
61 Understanding of lithium-ion battery procurement & safety standards (e.g., UN

61 Priority will be given to those who have worked for at Greenworks or Ryobi, HART, Milwaukee, DeWalt, Makita.
