Accountabilities:
Essential Functions
61 Select, manage and develop the SharkNinja Products Quality team at Supplier, deploying the Company’s goals into the Quality organization.
61 Conduct periodic performance reviews of the Quality Team members, ensuring appropriate, frank and objective feedback to each Quality team member.
61 Ensure compliance to regulations and corporate policies and procedures.
61 Deploy the organization’s Quality Strategies and Objectives within the Supplier’s organization.
61 Monitor Supplier Ongoing Product Quality performance and initiate Continuous Improvement activities in order to achieve/ exceed the defined Supplier Quality Metrics.
61 Monitor and assess the deployment of effective Quality Tools at Supplier (e.g. 7 Gates of Quality, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, Systematic and ongoing review of PFMEA RPN reduction, etc.).
61 Provide VP Quality with regular reporting of Supplier Ongoing Product Quality performance.
61 Support the NPD process and manage the NPI process at Supplier, ensuring it reflects DFSS and DFM (via the Manufacturing Engineering Group). Deliver own NPD/ NPI “Quality Work Packages” on time and required quality.
61 Support and approve the Product Readiness activities for New products at Supplier.
61 In conjunction with the appropriate senior management team, make final decision on product improvement and product shipment decisions.
61 Ensure Supplier to conduct product testing as per the schedule agreed with SharkNinja. Report and lead failure investigations for product failures.
61 Review of Customer return data ensuring appropriate analysis and correlation with process performance lead to sustained improvement activities at the supplier. Provide Quality Engineering support for customer complaint investigation
61 Monitor the ECN Process at Supplier, ensuring the timely closure of ECN’s.
61 Monitor the JIRA process to ensure all relevant issues are listed. Ensure that closure of NPI related issues is based on robust root cause analysis and objective evidence.
61 Ensure that the CAR process is updated including Root Cause Analysis and monitor the performance against the set metrics for CARs. Approve closure of CARs.
61 Monitor and approve the introduction of proposed new key sub-suppliers, ensuring that major quality risks are identified and addressed by supplier.
Attributes and Skills
61 Strong knowledge of product quality and product development processes in diverse industries.
61 Professional knowledge in APQP&PPQA methodology, and deep understanding of PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, Capability Study, Capacity Review, SPC, QC tools.
61 Demonstrated high level of engagement, self-motivation, high morale with excellent work ethic, integrity and attitude.
61 Previous experience in retail consumer space for general, home improvement, tools and / or consumer electronic products.
61 Good problem solving skills, acts decisively, promptly and confidently. Not afraid to contradict others and proactively offering solutions.
61 Creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems that may not have one clear answer.
61 Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
61 Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done
61 Fluent English speaking & written is a must.
61 Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor is preferred.
61 Six sigma black & green belt is preferred.
Hiring Requirements:
61 10+ years’ working experience in a manufacturing environment.
61 Extensive experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Development and New Product Introduction.
61 10+ years’ experience in managing a Quality Assurance Team.
61 Excellent English speaking with presentable communication
