POSITION DESCRIPTION
Corporate Unit: Great China
Location: Qingdao/ Zhengzhou
Reporting to: Ocean Freight

2 General Description
Independently drive business in cooperation with local sales support and operation. Acquire business from new customers, develop new business and maintain relationship with existing customers to achieve sales goal.
3 Specific Accountabilities
? Identify Ocean business opportunities in the respective sales territory.
? Gain business with new customers (close the deal!) and additional business with existing clients.
? Own’ your customers and maintain/strengthen customer relationship
? Provide quotations and business solution support to your customers
? Know your clients, their industries, market potentials, competitors
? Do frequent customer visits (customer penetration) to ensure positive market visibility
? Align with KAM/RDM and PM on the respective strategies
? Create sales leads for overseas
? Update business pipeline constantly, follow up on all sales leads, ensuring they are answered and immediate action is taken
? Update the selling tariff to ensure margins are protected as instructed
? Ensure TWNS system is always updated according to TWNS SOP
? Coordinate the resolution of business issued with stakeholders
? Ensure agreed DSO/overdue levels are in control; manage credit applications for own clients
? Actively communicate to clients & internal stakeholders on all customer related topics
? Provide monthly report on all import business development and related market intelligence
? Ensure all RFQ (request for quotation), bids and tenders are replied to within the time specified
? Perform any special duties or projects assigned by the management.
4 Skills Required
? Knowledge of International Trade and relevant Laws, Regulation,Process and Procedures
? Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin
5 Experience and Qualifications
? Achieve agreed GP based on regional targets
? Achieve 30 Sales Calls per week
? Maintain Sales Pipeline & CRM system
? Individual target defined by subregional sales managers
? Relevant Education Background, Hard Skill, Knowledge and Experience:
? University graduated or above
? Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in the industry
? Analytical skills to solve complex problems
? Strong writing and oral communication skills
? Advanced experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio)
? Fluent business Chinese and good English knowledge (oral and written) required
