1. System Monitoring and Management:

61 Monitor the performance and availability of applications, servers, and systems.

61 Use monitoring tools (e.g., TrueSight, SolarWinds) to track system health and performance metrics.

61 Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, errors, and outages.

2. Application Support:

61 Ensure the smooth operation of business-critical applications.

61 Troubleshoot application-related issues and coordinate with development teams for resolution.

61 Perform application deployments, updates, and patches in coordination with DevOps or engineering teams.

3. Incident Management:

61 Respond to system and application alerts, incidents, and outages.

61 Log, track, and resolve incidents using IT service management (ITSM) tools like ServiceNow.

61 Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or development teams as needed.

4. Automation and Scripting:

61 Use tools (e.g., Dollar Universe, Control-M, Ansible) to automate system routine tasks and health checks.

61 Implement and manage automation tools for configuration management and deployment.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

61 Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, application dependencies, and operational procedures.

61 Generate reports on system performance, incidents, and maintenance activities.

6. Collaboration and Communication:

61 Work closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless operations.

61 Provide technical support to end-users or internal teams for application-related issues.

7. Shift Work

61 Provide 24/7 support for critical systems and applications.

61 7 x 24 shift duty is required, by roster, morning shift 07:00 – 15:30, evening shift 15:00- 23:30 and Night shift 23:00 – 07:30, there is 30mins overlapped for shift handover.

61 On duty at Weekend and Public holiday subject to roster

61 General shift pattern, every 8 days is a cycle, with 2 days off subject to roster

61 Personal vacation, take by plan and roster
