Sr. Packaging Development Engineer

61 Design the packaging specification for new products, including material structure, dimension etc. until the sample be accepted by marketing, production and relevant departments.

61 Maintain packaging specification, drawings, color standards, A//W, and relevant documents properly, and keep it updated.

61 Support and analysis to ensure smooth production of MH plant (where necessary, copackers as well), in regarding the packaging materials.

61 Conduct the supplier quality management in terms of supplier on-site audit, sample trial, product inspection, quality trouble shooting …etc. Coordinate with suppliers to solve the quality issues.

61 Assist in new supplier development, do supplier evaluation, sample proofing, artwork management and production trial where necessary.

61 Conduct the quality inspection in terms of sample verification, color proof, on site sampling when it is necessary …etc.

61 Participate & support sourcing projects and provide technical advice & analysis. Work together with cross-function team to ensure smooth implementation of projects.

61 Business partnering with Marketing and other internal stakeholders, leading the business on generation of innovation possibilities, and delivering agreed pipeline packaging projects on time.

61 Leading role in looking outside, leveraging suppliers and third parties, to develop sustainable packaging solutions to support future business needs

Job Requirement

61 Bachelor degree or above. Technical or Chemistry a plus

61 Minimum of 5 years experience in relevant jobs.

61 Understand the requirements & procedures of FSSC 22000, HACCP, or BRC … Qualified Auditor will be preferred.

61 Understand the production process of packaging materials, such as the Tins, Laminated film, Cartons and Corrugated cases. Giftings etc..

61 Fluent in Mandarin and English

61 Team work, and having high level of interpersonal and communication skills

61 Results driven and Customer oriented

61 Willing to travel
