质量经理-玩具Quality Manager

??Make sure that candy-toy products meet the highest expectations of customers.

??Seek constant improvement and respond to any quality incident with efficiency and speed.

??Organize and manage the entire QA-QC Department (including QC and laboratory staff).

??Prepare and execute a plan to up-grade internal testing facilities (both for candy and for toys), in order to be able to test internally all products under ASTM and EN71 standards.

??Prepare and execute a “Audit Plan” for factory, making sure that facilities are always certified under ISO, SEDEX, HALAL and any other certification that is relevant for the industry (BSCI, ICTI…) or requested by customers or licensors (Disney, Walmart…).

??Review and up-date current all internal QA/QC procedures (both for NPD and repetition orders), introducing “Quality checkpoints” before all critical milestones of any NPD or PO (briefing, prototype, molds, production start, and shipment).

??Prepare the product Quality Specifications file & AQL for each product (including packaging).

??Execute (with own resources) the internal “Risk Assessment” for each project, to ensure future compliance with EN71 & ASTM.

??Coordinate with external labs (TUV, BV, ITS…) the certification of SKUs (EN71 standards).

??Plan and execute “During Production Inspection” (DPI) and “Pre-Shipment Inspections” (PSI) and coordinate any third-party inspection on behalf of customers.

??Guarantee permanent compliance of products with EN71/ASTM standards, by regularly testing all SKUs in own lab facilities.

??Propose to the Top Management to up-date external lab certifications when needed.

??Negotiate with labs preferential discount rates and speedy service.

??Regularly propose to the management ways to improve the quality of products.

??Regularly hold a “Quality Review meeting” to up-date Top Management of all QA-QC issues, including internal risk assessments, external lab certifications, proposed quality improvements, resolution of any quality incidence...

??Solve all quality related issues that may arise during the production and the life of a product, preparing and leading “Corrective Action Plans (CAP) when required.

Key competencies

??Technical degree or diploma, preferably related with Quality.

??Familiar with EN71/ASTM toy safety regulations; familiarity with food regulations is a plus.

??Familiar with mold design and all types of plastic material and plastic injection processes.

??Proficient user of Microsoft Office.

??Native level of Mandarin, good level of English (will communicate directly with customers).

??Organized, with good administrative and project management skills.

??Good presentation and communication skills.

??Able to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

??Creative person, able to give ideas to the technical areas to solve quality problems.

??Proactive, a team player that can also work independently, with hands-on mentality.

??Willing to be stationed in Ningbo, and travel if required.

??At least 5-10 years’ working experience, including at least 3 years managerial experience in QA-QC Departments of toys or candy-toys companies.

??2-3 years testing experience working for a top-tier lab (SGS, ITS, BV, TUV…) will be a strong plus.
