Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PTP Team Lead to join our Shared Service Center (SSC). The successful candidate will support the PTP Finance function to deliver quality and timely work to support operations.
Key Responsibilities:
61 Oversee the vendor invoice processing, payments, and resolution processes for Group entities, ensuring the preparation of monthly AP reports.
61 Manage, guide, and supervise a team of at least 9 staff members to ensure accurate and efficient day-to-day vendor invoice processing and payment processes.
61 Provide guidance to the team and improve communication with team members from various Group Functions and Business Areas in the resolution of PO/invoice discrepancies and other open items.
61 Plan and execute weekly/monthly payments to ensure timely approvals for vendor payments.
61 Continuously streamline and automate processes, from system design and project management to user acceptance testing.
61 Set up goals, targets, and KPIs for team members and closely monitor their performance to ensure continuous improvement and achievement of targets and KPIs.
61 Review AP reports and take follow-up action to resolve aged items.
61 Work closely with the house banker to ensure smooth Host to Host payment process flow.
61 Collaborate with the IT Support team in system enhancement and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
61 Degree in Accounting or equivalent, CA or CPA.
61 Minimum of 5 years of Accounts Payable managerial experience, preferably in a shared services environment with strong control concepts in PTP work processes.
61 Experience using SAP, Kofax, OCR systems, and host-to-host payment process flow. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is an advantage.
61 Knowledge of AI and its applications in finance and accounting processes.
61 Ability to manage a team of staff, various stakeholders, and handle a high volume of transactions.
61 Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with co-workers in Singapore HQ.
