Position ICT Technician 信息技术网络工程师

Job Definition
1. Primary Helpdesk Contact window for Campus ICT helpdesk service
1) Main Responsibilities
61 Following school academic calendar to provide on-site or remote service to fulfill daily education needs or resolve incidents in a timely manner with clear communication
61 Ensure all issues or requests are well handled and followed up by you or team members, and give an update on a regular basis (Daily) to teachers via email or wecom, send a follow-up email to your line manager with in-complete tasks’ status before duty-off
61 Prepare IT environment for event or meetings, such as open day, weekly assemblies, etc
61 Prepare *** environment as requested for music cluster, etc
2. Contact window for Campus ICT network service or incident
1) Main Responsibilities
a. Act as a technical contact window to perform a basic network service or incident trouble-shooting, like WIFI connection, website connection or performance issue, etc
b. Act as a backup of line manager to monitor campus network performance status and work with supplier to resolve basic incident
c. Work with line manager to review network service and incident, to ensure campus network performance is fine-tuned
61 Sangfor AC log review
61 Sangfor Bandwidth Control adjustment
61 Sangfor Security alert/log review
61 China Telecom connectivity and overseas network performance review and adjustment
3. End to End ICT Fixed Asset Management
1) Scope (within ICT Scope)
61 All ICT fixed asset registered on ICT fixed asset tracking sheet
2) Main Responsibilities
a. Ensure Campus ICT fixed asset properly functioning and can be properly used by teachers on daily basis, prepare user guide/video for quick reference
61 LED screen in sports hall/lobby
61 Projectors, IWBs in all classrooms
61 iMac/DELL all-in-one/Dell Laptops/Desktops in C309/C310/B503
61 Devices in speech room (Projectors, Video/Audio Converters)
61 Conference Devices in 2nd floor meeting room
b. Monitoring ICT fixed asset (FIXED ASSETS) movement
i. On Daily basis:
61 Record Any ICT FIXED ASSETS movement with email or sign-off doc, and archive to sharepoint for any movement over a day
ii. On Weekly basis:
61 Do full count on shared IPAD/Macbook in-trolley, and ensure all FIXED ASSETS is traceable. If any, double-check with owners via proper way (email/wecom)
iii. On Quarterly basis
61 Perform spot check on ICT FIXED ASSETS based on (ICT FIXED ASSETS tracking table), the coverage should be over 20% of total FIXED ASSETS, report to Line manager via email and upload check-up proof onto sharepoint
61 Do a proper check for devices in B509 to specify devices’ status (Good or Broken)
iv. On Half-Year basis
61 Work with line manager to do full count on ICT FIXED ASSETS based on (ICT FIXED ASSETS tracking table) and upload proof onto sharepoint
61 work with finance team to complete financial fixed asset cycle-count
4. Manage the ICT materials in D420 and ensure ICT team always has a enough stock to cover teachers’ common needs in a timely manner.
