· Document quality recommendations and risks associated with suppliers;

· Work together with R&D, Sourcing to conduct supplier drawing/technical review to make sure candidates fully understand Checkpoint specifications and requirements;

· Supplier manufacturing processes planning, analysis and development;

· Work together with R&D/LOB, manufacturing to qualify outsourcing components;

· Coordinate and finish AML change in PDM with the request from internal and external side of Checkpoint system;

· FAI/Golden sample sign off;

Supplier Quality Control

· Serves as an escalation point for manufacturing facilities for supplier’s quality issues;

· Co-ordinates and mediates between the suppliers and manufacturing facilities to resolve supplier quality issues;

· Close SCAR with systemic, permanent solution and limited cycle time for assigned suppliers;

· Collect data from manufacturing plants and other sources to issue periodic quality scorecards for assigned suppliers;

· Implement and maintain supplier quality database for assigned suppliers;

· Act as liaison between sourcing, R&D, and manufacturing organizations to ensure high quality products or services are maintained;

Supplier Quality Development

· Issues corrective actions and follow-up with suppliers to improve quality performance;

· Develop plans, quality programs for improvement and works directly with plants and suppliers to improve performance;

· Train supplier of Checkpoint requirement, quality improvement methods and tools.
