1.Understanding our customer’s need and business requirements

-Prospective customers; how an operation should be laid out within a

new/existing facility, labor planning, cost modeling and associated risks and

issues.

-Existing clients; reviews of existing operations, how they could be enhanced operationally (layout, improved information/interface) with the purpose of reducing cost and enhancing customer service.

2.Undertake Solution Design assignments to include.

-Scoping.

-Data requirements.

-Warehouse modeling.

-Transport modeling.

-Sensitivity analysis/scenario testing.

-User interface design/model testing.

-Digitization and automation modelling.

-Coding and programming knowledge.

3.Delivery of projects to defined time and quality standards.

4.Effective communication on project progress and issues to all stakeholders, including views on how they are to be resolved.

5.Development of own skill set to retain professional competence and marketability.

6.Maintain in-depth knowledge of competence are and Unipart Way Standards.

7.Project delivery including project t set-up and definition, budget, risk management, team working, timeline planning and overall deliver.

8.Ensure that all implementations are reported and available for governance.

9.Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skills.

-Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

-Requires more than 3 years’ experience in Solutions design, warehouse modeling, project management.

-Strong understanding of logistics or manufacturing solution Design.

-Experience in using costing tools.

-Excellent oral and written communication skills.

-Strong presentation skills and the ability to build credibility with clients and stakeholders.

-Advanced Excel and Data Analytical tools.

-Digital, coding, programming knowledge.
