Responsibilities
61 Lead business development (BD) initiatives for luxury brand expansion in mainland China, aligning with the company’s strategic goals to enhance brand appeal and drive sales performance.
61 Develop and maintain long-term partnerships with high-net-worth individual (HNWI) clients; design and optimize client journeys (both for existing and new FV HNWI members) to elevate their end-to-end consumption experience.
61 Create, execute, and manage client engagement programs (e.g., in-person/virtual retail events, workshops) to boost client participation and advocacy; monitor program execution and provide qualitative feedback for continuous improvement.
61 Collaborate cross-functionally with HQ teams (CRM, Retail, Brand), local retail teams, and leadership to ensure alignment in client journey deployment and brand experience standards.
61 Analyze the effectiveness and ROI of client engagement efforts; translate data insights into actionable strategies to refine BD tactics and client experience initiatives.
61 Manage the assigned budget for client engagement tools and resources; ensure cost efficiency while delivering high-quality client-focused activities.
61 Act as a brand ambassador for FV (Fashion Village) to promote the brand, recruit new potential HNWI members, and expand the luxury client base.
61 Gather and evaluate client feedback and needs; adjust BD strategies and client experience plans to align with client expectations and brand image.
61 Ensure compliance with the company’s anti-corruption policies (e.g., FCPA, PRC anti-bribery laws) and confidentiality agreements in all BD and client interactions.
61 Meet predefined KPIs related to sales contribution, client engagement rate, and HNWI client acquisition/retention.
Requirements
61 Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Marketing, Luxury Management, or a related field.
61 3-5 years of proven BD or client management experience in the luxury industry; prior experience with VIC (Very Important Client) management, client engagement programs, or luxury retail is mandatory.
61 Strong analytical skills to assess client engagement effectiveness and ROI; ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
61 Excellent cross-functional project management skills; capable of leading client-focused initiatives and coordinating with multiple stakeholders (HQ, retail, leadership).
61 Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills; proficiency in presenting innovative BD ideas to senior management and engaging high-end clients.
61 Strategic mindset with the ability to plan long-term BD strategies that support sales goals, client experience enhancement, and brand growth.
61 Passion for the luxury industry and deep understanding of luxury client behaviors, expectations, and market trends in mainland China.
61 Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken); familiarity with bilingual business agreements (Chinese-English) is a plus.
