Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electronic Engineer to join our Development Laboratory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and finding innovative solutions for our small household appliances. The role requires a hands-on approach, a keen eye for detail, and a holistic understanding of projects and systems to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct testing and validation of electronic components and systems for small household appliances.
2. Identify and troubleshoot issues in the design and performance of mechanical samples including electronic circuits and systems.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and software engineers, to develop and refine product designs. Take a holistic approach to samples, considering all aspects of the system.
4. Develop and implement test procedures and protocols to ensure product reliability and compliance with industry standards.
5. Setup automatic testing procedures.
6. Document test results, analyze data, and present findings to the Design and Development Group.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in electronic engineering and incorporate new technologies into product development.
8. Assist in the creation of prototypes and oversee the transition from prototype to production-ready designs.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in electronic design and testing, preferably in the household appliances sector.
3. Strong knowledge of electronic components, circuit design, and troubleshooting techniques.
4. Proficient in using electronic testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
5. Laboratory software, i.e. LabView and evaluation software like Origin or MATLAB.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
8. Effective communication skills and ability to present technical information clearly.
Preferred Skills
1. Fluent in English
2. Experience with microcontroller programming and embedded systems.
3. Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for household appliances.
