Battery Systems Development Manager

- Experience in automotive or industry related battery storage applications.

- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and certifications related to battery safety and performance.

- Competence in design software commonly used in battery development.

- Experience in overseeing full product life cycles, from conceptual design to production ramp-up.

- Responsibility of mentoring, and guiding suppliers, small teams of engineers.

- Experience in selection and management of complex supply chains.

- Capacity to communicate complex technical concepts effectively with suppliers as team members with varying levels of technical expertise.

- Ability to present technical findings and business implications to senior leadership and regulatory bodies.

- Familiarity with ISO, IEC, and other relevant standards governing battery systems.

- Experience implementing quality control and validation processes for batteries （e.g. lithium-ion, or alternative chemistries)

- Product development background and technical expertise in the selection, assembly, testing and production of major energy storage components, e.g. batteries and inverters.

- Proven track record in energy product management or related roles.

- Strong (international) network in the market and good commercial understanding with major component supplier or other relevant stakeholders.

- Record in cross-functional collaboration.

- University degree in electrical engineering, chemistry, materials science technical studies or comparable training with corresponding additional qualifications.

- 5 to10 years of professional experience in the design, development or manufacturing or decentralized energy storage systems.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required (other foreign languages as an advantage).

- Flexibility, commitment and willingness to travel.

- Experience working in BU matrix organization is beneficial.
