Position Summary:
This role is responsible for supporting the merchandising and global sourcing teams by implementing production and process checking. Duties include performing during production process & product check per predefined checklist and approved sample and other duties assigned by the manager. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver as predefined task definitions and report observations back in an organized and comprehensive fashion.
Job Responsibilities:
Ability to perform on-site examination of automotive components and process according to written and verbal work instructions.
Perform vendor training to communicate examination process building up internal examination capability
Provide information that is timely and credible to the AutoZone Compliance team.
Other tasks assigned by inspection supervisor
Must protect AutoZone’s values, reputation for integrity, and ensure that our vendors adhere to the highest ethical standards.
Inspectors must have no history of Non-Compliance Incidents.
Have strong critical thinking skills that enable them to review production process.
Needs to have knowledge with applicable laws, regulation, and/or policy in the country the inspector is located in.
Understand sample plans and AQL sampling to determine the acceptance or rejection of inspection material
Skills and Requirements:
Work shall be carried out in an independent and impartial manner, using appropriate methods and procedures and in accordance with local and international laws.
Annual learning on AutoZone’s anti-bribery procedure and Code of Conduct
Able to speak, read and write in English
Bachelor or associate degree, or above
Minimum 2 years relevant experience
Good self-discipline
Good communication skills
Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project & MS Share Point.
Able to accommodate travels per business needs.
Required to perform quality checks on large or heavy items.
Have strong critical thinking skills that enable them to review production process.
Knowledge with applicable laws, regulation, and/or policy in the country the inspector is located in.
Understand sample plans and AQL sampling to determine the acceptance or rejection of inspection material
Could accept frequent international travels in South-East Asia counties, such as Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia etc.
