Position Objective:
The Assistant Manager is responsible for leading a team of fund accountant staff to ensure the fund operations and accounting for pension funds and investment linked products carried out effectively and timely, and to fulfill further operational requirements and accumulate cross-team cooperation experience.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Supervise staff on the daily investment operations, fund accounting, regulatory and monthly financial reporting, risk monitoring and review for pension funds and investment linked products
· Timely review of reconciliation and take proper follow up actions for problems/issues identified thereafter
· Ensure that assigned tasks and projects are completed within planned schedule.
· Analytical review on the fee and expenses, cashflow, fund performance and other fund related reporting
· Ensure accurate and timely reporting for group consolidation/ management reporting/ marketing/ statutory purposes
· Perform staff coaching and supervising junior staff.
· Assist team members in prioritizing tasks and assist manager in arranging resources within the team
· Carry out ad-hoc projects in a professional manner as and when required.
· Be responsible for the service improvement and cost of service management.
· Work closely with colleagues from relevant business units or supporting departments to identify business and service improvement opportunities.
· Work with other departments or counterparts to improve the cooperation and understanding among teams.
