Software QA Engineer（BIOS测试）

Semi-Custom SW engineering team has immediate opening for Software QA engineer. Key responsibilities of the position is listed below

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

61 Ensure system software (BIOS, Driver and Firmware, etc.) are tested properly and delivered to customer and internal engineering teams on time before and after the silicon arrival.

61 Write comprehensive test plans used to insure compliance to specification and that overall quality goals are achieved.

61 Identify and help resolve various software, ASIC, board and firmware issues, provide diagnostics support to external customers and internal engineering teams

61 Responsible for execution of programs, multiple projects on the go

61 Manage quality review audits and drive best quality practice.

61 Conduct comprehensive reviews of currently deployed processes and drive process improvement.

61 Plan and conduct test centric Post Mortem evaluation/review.

61 Desire candidate would also have a moderate to high level of programming experience which can be leveraged for projects which have automated testing opportunities as well as knowledge in white box.

REQUIREMENTS

61 B.Sc. or M.Sc. In EE or CS or equivalent is required

61 Good written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

61 A minimum of 2 years’ experience on QA or Validation and closely interact with software designers

61 Strong test engineering ability and software quality assurance understanding

61 Strong debugging and testing skills

61 Knowledge of PC products (CPU/GPU/APU, motherboard…) and peripherals (DIMM, Hard Disk, Monitor, SD, SATA, USB….)

61 Hands-on experience with x86 silicon, platform or software validation is preferred.

61 Familiar with Windows and Linux OSes. Experience in system management will be a plus.

61 Proficient in programming skills like C/C++, Python will be a plus

61 Good team worker and willing to work overtime and work under pressure.
