- Control lab activities for highest safety and to ensure compliance with local regulations. Participate to team effort to achieve those.

- Own allocated New Product Development project (NPDI), apply project management discipline for timely progression of the allocated project according to plans.

- Maintain efficient working relationship within the global Specialties Foam Technology team, ensure and adjust activity to fit agreed global plans.

- Efficiently interface with selected Specialties Foam customers in China and Asia to achieve commercial introduction of PU additives focusing on new products. Establish efficient customer relationship build-up as part of this effort.

- Create IP relevant for the business - prepare invention disclosures when relevant.

- Support the qualification of alternative suppliers for strategic raw materials for Specialty foam additives.

Represent Company at technical events with outside parties (conferences, seminars, exhibitions)

任职资格

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science in technical field with 3 years polyurethane formulation / product development and customer technical service experience

- Demonstrated skills in organic and/or polymer chemistry.

- Familiarity with standard laboratory techniques, including structural characterization and related analytical techniques.

- High interest for applied sciences, industrial processes and new product development activities from laboratory and pilot scale

- Working knowledge of PC applications (word processing, spread sheet, presentation, etc.)

- Willingness to travel up to 20% to learn ***-hand from customers their needs for the products under development.

- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in a cross-functional and global team environment.

Good oral and written communications skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:

- Doctorate or Master′s degree in Chemistry or Polymer Science

- 5 years R&D experience in new products development and pilot scale testing

- Experience in Polyurethane foam technology and additives

- Experience in surfactant applications and characterization
