Job Title: Account Manager
Location: home office, base in North China
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Develops sales strategies and action plans for identified targets of opportunity.
2. Secures orders from existing and potential Customers by means of visiting the Customer facility or contacting by phone.
3. Obtains Customer specifications and secures opportunities to quote on Customer requirements.
4. Follows up (by phone or visit) on quotations submitted to Customers.
5. Establishes professional Customer/Vendor relationships with appropriate Customer personnel (Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Management, other key personnel).
6. Places Customer orders and sample requests with Customer Service.
7. Assists Product Development staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs.
8. Attends Customer molding trials as required.
9. Submits monthly activity/call reports concerning Customer-related activities for quote, orders, and problems concerning customer relationships.
10. Provides timely response to Customer inquiries, problems and complaints to ensure Customer satisfaction.
11. Performs all assigned duties in the assigned sales territory.
12. Performs other duties and assignments as directed by supervisor.
Recommended Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in chemical, High Polymer Materials or equivalent, and/or 5-7 years’ sales experience with the company or in TPE industry.
2. Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable, extroverted personality, well organized.
3. Demonstrated ability to develop new business and achieve profitable sales in highly competitive markets.
4. Must be able to travel to Customer sites and Vendors.
5. Skilled in the use of basic computer software, including word-processing and spreadsheets.
6. Fluent in English.
