ORGANIZATION & POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Honeywell Build Automation (BA) is a leading global provider of products, software, solutions and technologies that enable building owners and occupants to ensure their facilities are safe, energy efficient, sustainable and productive. BA is headquartered in Atlanta, GA.
We are currently seeking a talent that reports into Honeywell’s Building Automation Greater China. The candidate will be a core member of BA GC pricing team as well as boarder commercial team and is expected to be responsible for all pricing related activities. You will work closely with global and local pricing, offering management, finance, sourcing etc. and senior management team to drive business growth and maximize profitability of the business by systematically deploying key pricing levers.
This position will have unparalleled exposure to senior leaders within the organization, and a view of the entire BA portfolio. After gaining sufficient experience, a natural career progression will be either a managerial level in the same function, or a position in boarder marketing team
RESPONSIBILITIES:
61 Develop and implement sophisticated pricing & discount strategy for BA Greater China and each LoBs based on dynamic local situations.
61 Partner with related functions to develop and execute differentiated pricing strategies
61 Work with global pricing team to ensure alignment of pricing strategies & AOP
61 Continuously improving processes around Price Setting, Getting and Netting activities.
61 Own the annual list price setting processes, evaluate and provide recommendations on list price actions by utilizing analytical tools (elasticity, 80/20 etc)
61 Develop a pipeline of price actions and drive execution throughout the year that will ensure attainment of the price plan
61 Analyze the impacts due to material, freight inflation and tariffs. Develop countermeasures to minimize margin erosion.
61 Report monthly price realization. Lead all pricing reviews with region and BA leadership teams
61 Serve as point person to ensure all functions understand end to end pricing process; develop and conduct training as required for strong collaboration.
61 Perform other pricing related works
QUALIFICATIONS:
61 5+ years of full time working experience in an analytical field, preferably with a professional service background (e.g. management consulting, market research firm, research dept. in investment banking, etc.)
61 Pricing related experience & certificate is a plus
61 Strong communication skills in written and spoken English & Chinese
61 Outstanding analytical skills in both qualitative and quantitative way, ability to synthesize multiple perspectives into frameworks
61 Strong business sense, strategic thinking & problem-solving capability
61 Can independently conduct extensive data research, e.g., desktop research, data consolidation and synthesis, conducting interviews with senior guidance
61 Can-do attitude, attention to details, well organized, ability to multi-task, proactively drive impact and get results
61 Good leadership potential: self-driven, seeks and welcomes feedback, good team player, open-minded, strategic thinking
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
61 Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
