Overview of Role: The Senior/Principal Statistical Analyst - Real World Data will lead and support statistical programming activities related to the analysis of real-world data. This role involves working closely with biostatisticians, epidemiologists, clinical scientists, medical affairs, health economics and outcome scientists to ensure high-quality and compliant deliverables in a timely manner that support real word evidence generation and regulatory submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
61 Develop, validate, and maintain statistical programs for the analysis of real-world data, ensuring compliance with internal SOPs.
61 Perform RWD related tasks, including data cleaning, data transformation, and analysis data creation from multiple sources, while ensuring data quality and integrity.
61 Implement statistical analysis plans (SAP) and generate tables, listings, and figures (TLFs) to support publication and regulatory submissions.
61 Develop analytical methods leveraging RWD to answer life science key business questions such as line of therapy, compliance/persistence, patient journey, treatment pattern and comparative effectiveness.
61 Consolidate data from various real-world sources (e.g., electronic health records, claims data, registries) to prepare analysis-ready datasets.
61 Create and maintain documentation for programming to ensure reproducibility and transparency.
61 Assist in the preparation of statistical reports, presentations, and publications.
61 Conduct quality control checks on datasets and statistical outputs to ensure accuracy.
61 Extensive experience with MS Office Suite (Excel & PowerPoint)
Qualifications:
61 M.S. in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related quantitative science field.
61 Minimum of 4+ year’ experience in the healthcare industry.
61 Proficiency on statistical programming using SAS and R. Experience with SQL would be a plus.
61 2+ years’ experience with analyzing real-world data (RWD), such as electronic health records, administrative claims data, or disease/patient registries, survey data.
61 Strong understanding of data management principles, including data quality.
61 Proven ability to plan, manage, execute statistical programming activities independently with minimum supervision.
61 Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
61 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
61 Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
61 A positive attitude and eager to learn, solid work ethic, and intellectual curiosity.
