PRODUCTION MANAGER

80 Ensure planned KPI’s of efficiency and performance are met or exceeded

80 Manage calls/meetings with customers with the aim to review customers demand

80 Monitor the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed

80 Support Quality Supervisor in evaluating Not Compliance;

80 Prepare reports and communicate with employees, staff and customers regarding potential issues affecting schedule or production changes

80 Implement and drive continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management process and best practices

80 Optimize resource utilization by implementation of an effective production organization

80 Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed

80 Ensure coaching and development of resources to meet business’s objectives

80 Supervising and motivating a team of workers

80 Reviewing the performance of subordinates

80 Ensure prescribed line preventive maintenance activities are completed

80 Manage employee performance, goals, assessments, and reviews

Physical Requirements

1. Regularly walks and/or stands for extended periods of time

2. Regularly uses a keyboard to interact with computer system

3. Regularly communicates verbally

4. Regularly uses the ability to hear and communicate in noisy locations

5. Regularly works in an area that is somewhat uncomfortable due to drafts, noise, temperature variation, or the like

Educational/Training Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or related field

2. 8+ years Work experience.

3. Demonstrated track record in managing production, preferably with mechanical systems (automotive assembly)

4. Advanced understanding of production processes and controls with the mechanical and mathematical skills for solving problems.

5. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify and address problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget.

6. Intermediate understanding of ISO/IATF Quality systems

7. Advanced communication skills
