Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
To manage the respective Production Quality Technician team to meet the business deliverables and measure the outputs in the allocated business divisions whilst maintaining our C&A quality and safety standards.
Responsible for all quality issues of all products manufactured within the assigned regions. Prioritize the correctness of products the first time by supplier with the correct technical design / fit to inspire our customer.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Manage, coach and develop the respective Production Quality Technician Team to improve and constantly maintain high performance and succession
2. Evaluate new suppliers to identify factory quality set up, product capability and capacity as well as technical expertise and monitor their development
3.Execute quality direction and improve the teams technical skills to the point where they can solve any technical problem
4. Manager and provide expert input for new product development whilst considering the best practices and market trends
5.Proactively lead and take responsibility for all quality related enquiries issues and solutions for all respective business units
6. Provide guidance and recommendation on quality and safety issues in order to solve production problems and implement problem shooting and corrective action plans for quality issues during production
7.Manage cross functional team collaboration with Merchandise, Buying and Sourcing teams to ensure alignment
8. Report, maintain and monitor the Quality IT tools on a regular basis, taking action as and when appropriate to provide root cause analysis and solution on major quality issues including customer returns, central store returns etc. as well as capture learnings for best practice sharing
9.Perform Quality Audits under consideration of product capability, production capacity, technical expertise and monitor supplier performance to ensure that suppliers/factories are performing well
10. Reporting to Regional Lead Production & Quality Operations

1. Manage the respective inspection reports, such as shadow inspections
2. Track supplier suspensions
3.Assess Quality assurance reports like NCR’s nonconformity reports and follow up closely to improve performance of the supply base.
4. Support the team, cross functional business partners and the supplier concerning sample approval reports and processes
5. Manage the respective KPI’s
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Expert knowledge across woven, knit and accessories categories within the supply base
2. Extensive knowledge of garment and pattern construction, engineering techniques as well as manufacturing processes
3. Good knowledge of laboratory test requirements and testing procedures
4. Passionate about the product by optimizing quality process
5. Motivated by providing solutions for upcoming challenges, leading and enabling a collaborative team
6. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills as well as critical thinking
7. Good organizational skills with attention to detail combined with efficient time management skills
8. Strong leadership skills with a team player mentality, positive & outgoing personality with high energy
9. Fluent in English, especially in manufacturing and engineering, preferably fluent in additional language
10. Good Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and outlook skills
11. Advanced Knowledge in Product development tools, Quality Management Systems, like PLM or PDM
12. Data tools for report collection, like Pivot88
13. Strong team player and relationship skills combined with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
1. Qualification in textiles, clothing, or quality, or applicable industry experience
2. Minimum 7 years of experience in the industry and 3 years of leadership / management experience
3. University degree in apparel engineering or equivalen
