Mechanical Engineer (PM)

Position Summary:

The Mechanical Engineer – Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams across engineering, quality control, and production, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to specifications, and compliance with international quality standards. The role includes direct management of a 7-member QC+QA team and responsibility for production workflows, documentation, inspection protocols, and cross-departmental coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

. Plan, coordinate, and monitor engineering projects through all phases: design, procurement, manufacturing, inspection, and delivery.

. Lead the Quality Control and Quality Assurance team: assign inspection tasks, monitor progress, set priorities, and provide

guidance and training.

. Develop and implement inspection protocols, technical documentation, and internal reports including COC, COT, material and coating reports in English.

. Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to identify critical inspection points and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

. Utilize advanced inspection tools (e.g., CMM, Electrical Height Gauge, SPC tools) to ensure product accuracy and quality.

. Manage non-conformities and lead CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) processes to prevent recurrence of quality issues.

. Collaborate with purchasing, production, and design teams to ensure efficient workflow and alignment on priorities.

. Maintain and oversee technical records, compliance documentation, and communication with clients or auditors as needed.

. Translate project and business goals into structured daily tasks for the team and monitor performance.

. Participate in project planning, timeline setting, and milestone tracking.

. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of quality, accountability, and proactive problem-solving.

Required Qualifications:

. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree or certifications in Project Management / Quality Management are a plus).

. Minimum 7 years of proven experience in project management within a mechanical manufacturing environment.

. In-depth knowledge of various metal manufacturing processes, including tooling, coatings, materials, machining, and compliance with technical standards.

. Hands-on experience with quality control tools, inspection techniques, and precision measuring equipment.

. Strong ability to read, interpret, and apply technical documentation and engineering drawings in English.

. Excellent English communication skills – both written and verbal – for technical documentation, internal reporting, and interdepartmental coordination.

. Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams in QC/QA or production settings.

. Exceptional organizational and task management skills; independent, responsible, and proactive.

. Experience working with international clients or in compliance with international standards is a strong advantage.

. Ability to prioritize workloads and manage inspection schedules efficiently.

任职资格：

. 机械工程学士学位（拥有项目管理或质量管理相关硕士学位或认证者优先）；

. 至少7年在机械制造行业担任项目管理工作的实际经验；

. 深入了解金属制造各类工艺，包括模具、涂层、材料、机械加工及相关技术标准；

. 熟练掌握质量控制工具、检验方法及精密测量仪器的使用；

. 能够熟练阅读、理解并应用英文技术文档与工程图纸；

. 优秀的英语读写与口语能力，适用于技术文件撰写、内部报告及跨部门沟通；

. 有领导QC/QA或生产团队的实际管理经验；

. 出色的组织与任务管理能力，做事独立、可靠、积极主动；

. 有国际客户或国际标准工作经验者优先；
