General Summary:
This role is crucial in ensuring that the company maintains competitive pricing, optimal margins, and strong source in the footwear business. Need to have good negotiations and communication skills to obtain necessary information in-order to make sure the accuracy and reasonability of cost sheets.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
61 Ensuring the Cost Breakdown is received same as the samples finished date through every stage from early development, proto, Lot, till final.
61 Work closely with cross-functional partners to get updated information about sample timelines and any callout on new products as well as the material price list.
61 Cross check Cost Breakdown, make sure the consumption, material units price, components and all details cost are accurate
61 Coordinate with China PD and factory to provide saving option to achieve target price and maximize profitability, call out to team when there's potential price issue related to design/material.
61 Align cutting standards and determine leather selection/grade with PD and Material team for pricing.
61 Collaborate with Trade Compliance team to get the duty rate/IFI code assigned.
61 Partner with Southeast Asia team and India team to get the prices from overseas' factories and make the cost comparison report to review with the management team.
61 Review projection sheet with management team to determine the final factory allocation according to their costs, capability, Leadtime as well as our sourcing plan/strategy.
61 Maintain accurate cost databases in SharePoint and system.
61 Build and maintain a price history by season to keep track of all styles, ensure an efficient analysis and comparison for new season.
Qualifications:
61 2+ years of experience in footwear costing.
61 Strong knowledge of footwear materials, construction, and manufacturing processes.
61 Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), systems, good at using PPT is a plus.
61 Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
61 Familiarity with incoterms, import duties, and logistics costs is a plus.

61 Strong sense of integrity.
61 Advanced knowledge of Excel.
61 Being a person who looks forward to learn new skills.
61 Fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
61 Ability to excel in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, with a high level of professionalism is crucial to this role.
Minimum Education: University or College degree
