Equipment Engineer

Job Responsibilities

61 Establishes targets in areas such as equipment reliability and monitoring the performance of all maintenance activities against the goals.

61 Monitors and analyze the time loss due to equipment malfunction; identify research and prepare recommendations on significant changes that to be made to systems, equipment and technology.

61 As Expert in equipment technique and performance, take responsibility of machine owner. Creating maintenance SOP, Scheduling and delivering preventive, reactive and predictive maintenance plan.

61 Ensure all machines troubleshooting timely. Ensure machines running well with high performance and low variations.

61 Establish and improve equipment maintenance, standards process/procedures and system to meet GMP requirements.

61 Instruct technicians and operators in technique sharing, training, maintenance standardization, build a skilled maintenance team. Share maintenance knowledge and experience, build maintenance database.

61 Spare part management, responsible for maintaining critical and other spare inventory level to ensure minimal production and machine downtime.

61 Participate in selection. Installation, commissioning and acceptance of new projects.

61 Working with Process engineer on creating and adjusting program or parameter , and conducting installation qualification /IQs.

61 Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.

Qualifications

Candidates must have the following qualifications:

61 Bachelor’s degree or above in an Engineering discipline, such as Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent background.

61 3-5 years working experience in the medical device industry in maintenance on CNC machines or secondary process machines.(washing, sand blasting, laser marking and etc…)

61 Good knowledge of mechanical drawing software 2D/3D, Autocad/ Inventor or Solidworks. Good knowledge of electrical such as PLC programming, driving system,pumps and hydraulics, familiar with the maintenance of the basic units.

61 Proficient in equipment TPM and spare parts management.

61 Good on reading and understanding technical drawings and manuals.

61 Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong capability on problem solving and continuously improvement.

61 Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
