Technical Product Engineer

- Leading small to medium-sized projects according to PEP process

- Creating new designs solution based on existing knowledge and further development of existing products

- Implementation of change management according to internal processes

- Technical support and consulting of the sales organization, product management

- Close cooperation with related functions, R&D, process engineering, purchasing and production

- Data management and setup of required documentation and settings in CATIA, PDM and SAP for implementation of production orders (item creation, rework, re-opening and elimination)

- Support quality management in process related aspects of issue solving (customer claims, CARs, etc.)

- “Clause by clause” review and interpretation of technical specifications and contracts (according to GMS). Creation of solution specifications and comments as required

- Create drawings, mechanical constructions, technical data sheets and technical requirement specifications (for supplier evaluation), run simulations and technical calculations (temperature, cross section, etc.)

- Technical support for product validation, setup of initial test plan, support implementation of basis tests, etc.

- Cost calculation for customer specific products

Essential Requirements:

- Technical background such as Technician or bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering

- Knowledge of engineering methods as CAD design engineer

- Willingness to cooperate in international and cross-functional teams, including in international missions abroad

- Knowledge of creativity techniques and analysis methods: Mind Mapping, Brainstorming, Ishikawa, Turtle Diagram, 5 Why, etc.

- Good communicator, open minded, presentation skills

- Solution oriented, organized, independent/self-sufficient and structured way of working

- Good English language skills (written and spoken)
