Job Description: Quality Manager MAGNETIC-FAAC SHANGHAI
Position Overview
The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing all quality-related functions within the plant, ensuring compliance with quality standards and driving continuous improvement of processes. This role i directly executing tasks related to Supplier Quality, Process Quality, Quality Assurance, and Customer Claim functions. A fluent command of English (at least B2 level) is required to effectively communicate with the competence center and HQ.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plant Quality Function Management
61 Oversee and actively implement the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
61 Ensure that all quality-related functions are aligned with the plant's objectives and regulatory requirements.
2. Process Improvement
61 Lead and execute initiatives to enhance process efficiency and quality through methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
61 Analyze process performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
3. Supplier Quality Management
61 Directly conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
61 Actively collaborate with suppliers to drive quality improvements and resolve issues related to non-conforming materials.
61 Knowledge of ISO 19001 as an international standard providing guidelines for conducting management system audits is considered a plus.
4. Quality Assurance
61 Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures and guidelines.
61 Conduct internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
5. Customer Claim Management
61 Manage the customer claim process using the PDCA methodology, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with customers.
61 Analyze customer complaints to identify trends and root causes, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
6. Training and Development
61 Develop and deliver training programs for staff on quality principles, practices, and compliance requirements.
61 Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.
7. Risk Management
61 Identify and assess risks related to quality and compliance, implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.
61 Maintain awareness of regulatory changes and industry standards impacting quality management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
61 Technical Education: Degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
61 Quality Management Systems: In-depth knowledge of QMS and quality standards (e.g., ISO
9001).
61 Production Processes: Strong understanding of production processes and traditional control and testing systems.
61 Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a culture of quality.
61 Effective Communication: Strong communication skills to articulate quality objectives and issues across all levels of the organization.
61 Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis techniques to monitor quality performance and inform decision-making.
61 Quality Certifications: Certifications such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or equivalent are highly desirable.

61 Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address quality issues effectively.
61 Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
61 Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software
