Manufacturing Engineer-Welding 焊接工程师

- Taking responsibility for document preparation for production processes, working instructions, material flow inside the workshop, etc.

- Identification of problems and improvement of currently used production processes in cooperation with workshop supervisors, group leaders, Quality and Engineering department. Usage of lean manufacturing techniques to meet cost, quality, labour and safety goals.

- Planning and implementation of all aspects of workshop welding improvement activities.

- Control and improvement of currently used welding jigs and fixtures in cooperation with Quality department.

- Developing and implementing 6s system in workshop area.

- Workshop related equipment, tooling and fixture points.

- Attending workers interviews and giving judgement about skill.

- Involvement in skill evaluation of workers.

- QHSE related actions and improvements.

Job requirements:

- Bachelor's degree, Major: Mechanical Engineering or related major.

- About 5 years of working experience in mechanical engineer or IE.

- Familiar with welding standard, welding certificate is preferred.

- Good written and spoken English, can work with the expatriates.

- Familiar with computer/office software.

- Hard working and quick learning ability.

- Structured thinking and problem-solving oriented approach.

- Detail oriented and active working style.

- High passion for improvement/Lean transformation.

Remarks: Currently working at the Shanghai Qingpu factory (with free accommodation provided), and will relocate to the new factory in Taicang, Jiangsu from June

2025.
