Job Description

Accountable for AE PLC deliverables of assigned projects between G20-G40 in the region/location, following Segment or BA standards, including (not limited to) execution of DVPs, creation and release of 3D/2D data, dFMEA, BOMs nd Technical presentation etc.

Accountable for developing and validating virtually products that meet internal and customers design guidelines while considering standard and customers specific requirements during the RFQ phase

Accountable for the design review activity during the RFQ phase and support this activity post nomination

Accountable for AE support for new and change management projects in the PLC from Gate 20-40

Evaluating feasibility checks for RFQs from customers in collaboration with a cross functional team

Provide feedback and involve the R&D team to implement our product strategy

Support Segment Sales - Organization for (optimal) pricing

Intra-company cooperation for development and cost saving projects

Active customer service in terms of technical problem solving, including warranty analysis and quality issues

Creating technical presentation for customers and internal departments such as Marketing

Support the customer in finding application-technical solutions

Technical coordination together with potential suppliers (internal / external)

Able and willing to travel nationally and internationally as required (no more than 25% of working hours per month)

Qualifications

Education

Technical bachelor’s degree or Technical master’s degree (vehicle engineering, or mechanical engineering) Expertise

> 3~ 5 years professional experience as an engineer at an automotive company or supplier preferred, experience as design / development engineer for other products acceptable

Good functional knowledge automotive Plastic Injection or NVH Components and Systems, the materials used in them, and manufacturing method

Good experience in CAD (CATIA preferred), FEM, CAE methods

Workable English language skills, basic computer skills, Microsoft Office experience
