需驻场某知名外资银行北京办公室办公 (半年期合同,期满后续签可能性较大)
职责:
● 负责英文与简体中文的互译,工种有翻译、校对和质量检查,内容涉及投行相关财经材料
● 建立和更新词汇表
● 回复客户对译文的问题和意见
● 日常与项目团队和项目经理就工作进度沟通
要求:
● 大学本科毕业,主修翻译/英语/语言学
● 5年以上任职财经译员经验
● 熟悉使用WORD、EXCEL及POWERPOINT等MS Office应用程序;会使用Trados Studio等计算机辅助翻译工具更佳
● 两个轮班时间:8AM-5PM 和1PM-10PM
Job Background/context:
Working as part of the APAC Translations team in a busy 12/7 department that supports English to Simplified Chinese, and vice versa translations services to internal clients within the Institutional Clients Group (i.e. Investment Bank, Markets, Transaction Services, Private Bank, etc.) and various other clients within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide high-quality translation of time-sensitive and confidential materials from English to Simplified Chinese and vice versa
· Translations of various types of documents, e.g., Pitch books, presentations, correspondences, regular market updates and other materials that may be related to the business
· Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced, multi-shift production environment. Interact with clients and gather details on job requests
· Discuss with Coordinators / Supervisor to clearly understand deadlines and instructions for processing a document properly
· Complete job tracking and monthly billing requirements as part of the workflow process
· Support Front Desk activities in the absence of Coordinators / Supervisor including coordinate & liaison with internal clients and external vendors for job distribution, proofreading etc.
· Any ad hoc duties assigned

Requirement:
Knowledge/Experience:
at least 5 years of experience as a professional translator, in financial field preferred
Skills:
Translations speed of 2,500 words per day
Highly proficient in both English and Chinese languages (oral and written communications inclusive)
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
Qualifications:
University graduate in related field
Master's degree in linguistics is preferred
Competencies:

Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Demonstrates enthusiasm and willingness to learn
