Buyer 采购工程师

1. Coordinate closely with members of the "Operations" team to provide acquisition support necessary to purchase materials (box, electronics, GTMS, Cans...) and non-production material in the most cost-effective approach.

2. Conduct the appropriate level of price/cost analysis in order to obtain the most favorable economic purchase.

3. Establish lead-times for new products/services and validate lead-times.

4. Ensure compliance of suppliers with Saft's FPP and CSR (corporate social responsibility) initiatives: Human Rights, Climate,

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree with engineering background. Minimum of five years progressively responsible purchasing (purchasing related) experience in a manufacturing environment with Engineering interface.

2, Intermediate knowledge level of purchasing principles, computer techniques, and manufacturing processes. Supply Chain methodology and project/program management experience. Understanding of Plastic Engineering process and terminology, Mold Tooling, Electronics and Sheet Metal Fabrication. Know basic regulation or information about Chinese customs.

3, Well developed understanding of business principles with effective communicative skills in English

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with emphasis on Project.
