The Director, Area Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of AspenTech software solutions and services to major customers. This is a customer-facing role that requires individuals with strong consultative and communication skills as well as business, industry and sales knowledge.

The position directly manages a team of Sales Account Executives and reports to the Country Manager of China.

Your Impact

61 Achieve assigned objectives of sales pipeline development, license revenue and service sales targets, and customer satisfaction.

61 Effectively manage a team of Account Executives, including:

o Recruiting and hiring as required

61 Mentor the Sales Account Executives in all aspects of the sales process and sales methodology, account management, company resource coordination, and administration.

61 Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts to executive management.
向高级管理层提供准确及时的销售预测。
61 Maintain sales expenses within allocated budget.

61 Coordinate with Global Account Sales Management to ensure proper account coordination and penetration in assigned accounts and sales quota achievement on a team basis.

61 Coordinate with business unit management and staff to ensure proper pricing of proposed solutions and development of new campaigns.

What You’ll Need

61 University Degree.
大学学历。
61 Demonstrated record of success in direct sales role and extensive experience selling enterprise software and engineering solutions - Energy market preferred.

61 Demonstrated account management experience on a global scale.

61 Familiarity with process modeling software products and services, advance process control / real time optimization, manufacturing execution systems and planning and scheduling solutions preferred.

61 Able to work collaboratively and effectively lead, motivate, and manage sales professionals.
