What does a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) do?02

LSA's are paired with an individual student (1 to

1) that has Special Education Needs.02 The LSA works with the student to aid in their everyday school needs, from Academic Support, Social Support and Behavior Development.02 All student cases are different and the LSA will be assigned to students that they are most suited to help based on their educational background and work experience.0202

Main Duties Include:02Working 1 to 1 with a special student that needs support to attend school.02The LSA should be patient, kind & calm.02 The day is spent attending classes with the student02& assisting them to manage their physical, mental,02or behavioral needs.02

Skills & Experience:

1. Bachelor's Degree or above

2. Candidates fluent in English02preferred.

3. Candidates must exercise a high degree of patience and02tolerance & flexibility.

4. Candidates with some experience or educational background with children with Special Needs (SEN) are preferred.02

5. Candidates with specific backgrounds and experience in education.

6. Enthusiastic and confident about working in an international school environment.
