You will play a key role in more complex customer projects, troubleshooting both in the factory, and at customer site. At the same time, you will also help to drive product improvements, either through providing input to R&D in France or through local initiatives managed by you.

You will work closely with business management, sales companies, factory, product management, and R&D to help drive technical and commercial success for Alfa Laval Moatti.

You will report to the Global Sales Manager. The main market is Marine and Engine Power (but also includes nuclear, locomotive, mining, and steel industry) with new exciting growth opportunities coming in both alternative fuels and new fluid applications.

What you know:

Initiate, Drive, and Implement positive change for the Moatti filters to improve technical and commercial performance

Drive change and continuously follow up with European colleagues where needed

Run improvements by yourself when needed or preferred

Manage and follow-up project lists on product improvements

Work as bridge between Market, China Factory and Alfa Laval Moatti HQ in France

Technical support for regional business managers, sales companies, factory and in case of complex customer cases

Including time spent in factory and many times at customer site to hands-on understand & help fix the issues

Go-to person for complex customer projects and quotes, e.g. nuclear or engine specific designs in Asia

Align market expectations with product management and R&D in Europe

Find the right things that add customer values, while also optimizing overall cost

Who are you?

You are goal oriented and self-driven, seeing the problems, identifying root-causes and taking the actions needed. You can influence and lead others to drive change.

Engineering degree (marine, mechanical, electrical, industrial or similar)

Experienced in R&D, product management or similar technical role

Work experience with project management

Fluent English is a must

Mandarin is preferred

Background in Marine, Nuclear, Engine Power or close related industry is beneficial, but not a must
