Application Engineer

1. Provides technical support and service to manufacturing and to customers in the brake segment.

2. Communicates information to Sales/Manufacturing/Customers. Attends meetings or seminars as necessary. Acts as a technical liaison to customers.

3. Evaluates and develops test plans to efficiently test and study product performance, including benchmarking activities.

4. Maintains contact with global technical team members supporting brake NVH applications to understand options available to support the local market.

5. Provide input products/specifications which may be added to the noise insulator manual.

6. Supports and adheres to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management system (TS

16949).

7. Maintains working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.

8. Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

9. Other works assigned by the supervisor.

资质/要求：

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, NVH knowledge and brake/friction experience is ideal. Solid mechanical experience is second best choice. Fresh graduate with solid background is ok.

2. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals and legal documents.

3. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

4. Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.

5. Problem solving and analysis skills that include the collection, evaluation and reporting of data and information related to system problems and observations.
