Responsibilities:
61 Responsible for product review at pre-production stage to ensure product safety to meet UK and other EU countries requirements.
61 Develop test plan based on product design, product destination and customer expectations
61 Lead and monitor test process with 3rd party labs
61 Lead corrective action process with suppliers and monitor execution effectively
61 Participate in factory pre-production meeting to eliminate potential quality issues
61 Support internal stakeholders to resolve quality related issues
61 Coordinate with suppliers to investigate and resolve quality inquiries
61 Work with peers in UK for product quality.
61 Follow up Ad-hoc task assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications and Experience:
61 Min. 2 years working experiences in sourcing and/or buying office.
61 Technical knowledge on Toys, Seasonal and Hardline product UK or EU markets.
61 Knowledge in EU regulations, e.g., REACH, GPSD
61 Knowledge in EC type examination, CE approval and UKCA is a plus.
61 Experiences in coordinating with factories on problem solving and/or corrective actions would be an advantage
61 Experiences in working and monitoring 3rd party labs of different regions
61 Work independently, detail-oriented, excellent problem-solving skill and self-motivated
61 Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese
61 Travel may require up to 20%
61 Candidates working at 3rd party lab will also be considered
61 Fresh graduate will also be considered
