Role purpose
61 Manage 3rd party logistics, communicate with inner & external business partner, and participate in some projects to support logistics developing, make sure transportation OTIF, control operation and risk. Clear monthly logistic expenses timely. Data analyse monthly.
61 To make sure Platform/RDC warehouses running in line with Syngenta's policy and strategy and aligned with Chinese regulations.
Accountabilities
61 Manage 3PL on transportation management, to improve transport service, HSE and control risk.
61 Review 3PL performance monthly and help 3PL to continuously improve their services.
61 Work out yearly transportation budget and review the cost every month.
61 Analysing transportation expenses and control within budget.
61 Prepare monthly accrual and payment for transportation charges, clear payment timely

61 Transportation management, DG transportation is preferred.

Critical experience
61 At least 3~4 year experience of working or managing 3rd party logistics

61 Logistics background
61 Good at reading & speaking in English
61 Good at analyse ability, use Excel well.

61 Manage logistics partner in transportation to achieve good service level at best cost
61 Analyse and understand the impact on transportation spending under new go to market strategy.
61 Communicate with plant protective station and inner departments well, make sure operation smoothly, control risk well.
Additional information
61 Need to travel sometimes.
61 Submit KPI & cost analysing report on monthly basis.
61 Use SAP IM&SD model
61 As a bridge between 3PL/Platform and Syngenta partners, coordinate abnormal operation issues once happens
61 Re-set up SOP if there have a chance to optimize process.
61 Participate in logistics projects.
61 Inventory accuracy management，identify the gap between reporting and system inventory, analyse the root cause.
61 Yearly Bidding data analysing and preparing
