JOB SUMMARY
To take responsible to the Finance at Hong Kong in Finance GL Accounting.
KEY TASK / RESPONSIBILITIES
1. GL Accounting
Responsible for HK GL accounting closing and financial reporting under both PRC and HK GAAP, including leading accounting transition across different legal entities and related communication and action.
2. Balance Sheet Accounts:
Responsible for all HK balance sheet accounts, including accounts payable & receivable, and fixed assets, re-charges to other companies, are reconciled on a timely basis and that they represent valid assets and liabilities, thus avoiding any unseen financial losses or audit qualifications.
3. HK Payment
In charge of preparation of PIHK payment application and ensure all payments comply with Group payment policy. Reporting accuracy and timeliness, and compliance with payment policies.
4. Taxation
Responsible for annual HK tax filing (including Withholding Tax / Income Tax and Individual Income Tax ) and Statutory financial statement submitting.
5. Auditing
In charge of regular accounting self-review and testing work to ensure completeness and accuracy. In charger of monthly reconciliation with inter-companies, customers and suppliers. Responsible HK company annual auditing issues Timely completion and provide feasibility reports.
6. Financial Reporting
Provide timely and accurate financial and management information.
7. Handling banking transactions
Responsible for the company's cash receipt and payment, bank settlement and bank reconciliation work, maintain the company's cash bank account, timely and accurately record the company's cash journal, bank deposit journal and other account books, to ensure the safety, accuracy and timeliness of funds.
8. Filing of statutory returns and dealing with statutory authorities.
Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by the management.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
1. At least 10 years working experience in accounting and finance area, 5 years of work experience as GL Accountant in MNC, experience of HK accounting is a plus.
2. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or relevant major, Accountant Certification, CPA or CTA is a plus.
3. Good English proficiency, verbal and written.
4. Proficient in SAP and Microsoft office software, etc.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
