职位目的
* 支持学校游泳项目的进一步发展,致力于将深圳哈罗国际学校打造为深圳及大湾区内的游泳卓越中心。
* 通过学术课程为3至18岁的学生教授游泳。
* 负责“学游泳”项目和校游泳队的训练,为国家和国际级赛事做准备。
* 游泳教练将在体育主任的指导下,协助学校整体的体育项目组织与发展。
* 与家长、外部机构及更广泛的社区建立稳固的关系,以提升招生率、保持高留存率,并为学生争取更多机会,同时配合学校的市场推广策略。
职责与责任
总体职责
* 支持并推广哈罗深圳校区及更广泛社区的游泳发展。
* 负责个人教练及教学课程的整体规划、执行与行政工作,由体育主任指定。
* 协助体育主任组织与地方/国家联赛及认证赛事相关的游泳活动。
* 与体育主任合作,确保哈罗文凭课外活动及延时课程中的游泳项目具有合理性与结构性。
教学方面
* 安全且鼓励性地对各个能力层级的学生进行游泳教学与训练。
* 为各年龄层开发“学游泳”项目,并为基础较弱的学生设置课程干预
发展与规划
* 协助建立清晰的游泳课程体系,关注技能发展,从幼儿园阶段延续至九年级。
* 协助体育主任发展精英游泳训练项目。
实施方面
* 协助提升哈罗游泳代表队的训练水平,并支持学校整体的游泳课程实施。
技术方面
* 熟悉学校使用的软件系统,包括iSAMs。
* 利用软件辅助学生提升游泳技能。
组织协调方面
* 与体育部门、救生员及外部服务提供者协调,确保泳池设备布置妥当,课后及时收回器材。
* 负责组织初中部和小学部的校内分院游泳比赛(如适用)。
儿童保护(Safeguarding)

Purpose of Job
61 To support the further development of the School’s swim programmes with the aim of establishing Harrow International School Shenzhen as a ‘hub’ for swimming excellence across Shenzhen and the Greater Bay region.
61 To teach swimming to children aged 3-18 years old through the academic curriculum.
61 To coach the learn to swim programme and the school’s swim team in preparation for national and international competitions.
61 Swimming instructor will support the organisation and development of the sport, across the whole school under the remit of the Head of Physical Education and Sport.
61 Build strong relationships with parents, external bodies, and the wider community to enhance enrolment, maintain high retention, and secure opportunities for students while supporting the school’s marketing strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities
Overall Responsibilities
61 Support the development and promote swimming throughout Harrow International School Shenzhen and the wider community.
61 Be responsible for the overall planning, delivery and administration of individual coaching and teaching sessions as determined by the Head of Physical Education and Sport.
61 Support the Head of Physical Education and Sport to organise swimming events linked with local/national leagues joined and recognised competitions.
61 Work collaboratively with the Head of Physical Education and Sport to ensure a suitable and structured Swimming programme is put in place for Harrow Diploma Activities and for swimming academies through the extended school day.
Teaching
61 Coach/teach swimmers of all abilities and to do so in a safe and encouraging manner.
61 Help develop ‘a learn to swim programme’ for all ages and set up interventions in curriculum swimming for weaker students.
Development/Planning
61 Help to further develop a clear swimming structure, linked to skill development, from EYC through to year
9.
61 Look to further develop an elite swimming programme training programme for those selected under the guidance of the Head of Physical Education and Sport.
Delivery
61 Help deliver a training programme to improve the Harrow Swim Squad and that supports curriculum swimming across the school.
Technology
61 Become or be familiar with school software – including the use of iSAMs.
61 Develop use of software to support swimmers in improving their swimming.
Organisation
61 Coordinate with PE department, lifeguards, and external providers to ensure the pool is set-up and ready for lessons and then also put away any equipment once a lesson has finished.
61 Assume responsibility for the organisation of House Swimming competitions across both US and LS where appropriate.

61 Take seriously the responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children, and to work together with others to ensure adequate arrangements within the School help to identify, assess, and support children who are suffering harm.

Qualifications
Essential
61 Bachelor's Degree from a recognised University.
61 Minimum of 2 years swim coaching or teaching experience.
61 Nationally recognised swimming instructor certificate.
61 Minimum of a level 2 Local/International swimming qualification – must be recognised by national bodies in China (and preferably beyond).
61 Relevant safeguarding clearances.
61 Suitable and recent professional development, relevant to post.
Desirable
61 Other recognised swim qualifications (for example: FINA, ASA, AUSTSWIM).
61 Ability to communicate in English with confidence
61 PE/Sports coaching certificates.
61 PE/Sports Degree.

61 A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check (for applicants who have never worked in UK) and no question regarding suitability to work with children.
