Technical Buyer 采购工程师

1. NPD/CPD Interface:

- Material / Parts / Supplier Standardization: looking after standardisation regarding material, parts and suppliers already in NPD/CPD by knowing strategy within responsible material groups. Supplier selection and approval from technical point of view.

- Being Interface Between Supplier And R&D: developing guidelines of interaction between technical Purchasing and R&D.

- Being Early Involved the NPD/CPD Projects: identify not preferred or obsolete components and suppliers. Calling samples, NPD material tracking based on RD and project teams’ requirements.

- Recommend alternative resources in order to achieve best pricing and negotiate part prices of new NPD/CPDs.

- Generation of innovation via recognition of new and important technologies with suppliers as well as transfer to Zumtobel Group technical and marketing decision makers by organising technical meetings with suppliers and R&D.

2. Commodity Strategy:

- Support Developing Material Group Strategies: perform permanent SWOT analysis and bringing the strategies into life together with headquarter global technical purchasing and commodity manager.

- Material strategy implementation and cost reduction collaboration and negotiation activities together with Global Purchasing team.

- Proactive planning and execution of China local supplier’s qualification and annual audit based on GSAP/GSAT process as Co-/ Lead auditor.

- Act as a bridge between Global Purchasing and TRSZ different functions on various collaborations for NPD/CPD material’s cost benchmark, cost mining and escalation solving.

- Sustainability: contribution and responsibility to support sustainability targets with suppliers in dedicated material groups.

3. Material Management:

- Material Description: define material description to be used in SAP to allow easy access for all function and avoid duplicates in system.

- Being gatekeeper for part maintenance in SAP and making sure specifications are linked to a raw material. Contact person for all technical questions from internal and external stakeholders.

- Component Approval: monitoring *** and second source approvals via SAP tool and QM process. Driving cost down activities such as Hoshin/ Should Costing.

- ECR management of technical purchasing aspects

4. TPP Purchasing Management:

- Support on market research, establishing procurement-market transparency and definition of strategy in alignment with the Global TPP Purchasing team.

- Ensure the optimal cost for purchased Third Party Product and services. TPP supplier and competitors cost benchmark and analysis.

- TPP NPD project’s interface and management, TPP strategy implementation and cost reduction collaboration activities together with Global TPP Purchasing team.

Requirements:

1. Min. 5 years professional experience in similar position and product/component sourcing roles.

2. Bachelor Degree Holder

3. Specific knowledge and source network in PCB, electronic components, housing or mechanical parts.

4. Ability to develop of potential and competitive suppliers in term of quality, price, delivery and service

5. Good English and Chinese (fluent in speaking, writing and reading)

6. Basic computer knowledge in MS Excel, MS Word and in depth knowledge with ERP (SAP Purchasing Module)

7. Legal base skills and contract knowledge
