Objectives of the Position
The demand planner plays a crucial role within the supply chain department by ensuring demand forecasting, optimal inventory levels, and facilitating efficient production. This position requires a combination of analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and operations teams.
Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities
Demand Planning
- Demand collection from DMT system and conduct demand validation
- Analyze EOP & SOP schedule for business mode steady change
- Analyze sales forecast accuracy report, to use FCA report to identify potential issue of demand
- MTO & MTF material management to identify plan mode difference
Supply Planning
- To keep consistency in demand vs supply, actual delivery realization compared with forecast to account for production schedule
- Participate in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings to provide input on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and sales projections.
- Close motoring remote warehouse stock and arrange replenishment plan for remote warehouse
- Shared material reasonable planning of consolidation and effective communication with stakeholders
Customer service and delivery management
- Sales order generation and tracking of delivery progress
- Tracking and coordination of rush orders
- Actual delivery realization monitor to appraise forecast accuracy
Inventory management
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or surpluses to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Monitoring stock level by inventory dashboard, adjust production plan accordingly (high & low stock) to achieve healthy inventory
- Management of SLOB materials like expired, no moving materials etc.
Efficient management of Digital tools in supply chain
- Efficiently manage planning and tracking activities in various system, incl. but not limited to SAP, DMT, APS, Track & Trace and inventory dashboards etc.
Complete the supply chain related tasks assigned
Job Requirements
- Education: bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Working Experience: Proven experience as a demand planner or in a similar role within the supply chain function.
- Technical & Professional Knowledge: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft office, PowerBI/Tablue, and ERP systems.
