The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager, assigned to one of Pinkerton’s largest global clients, will inspect and evaluate the client’s corporate offices, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry best practices. This role analyzes data, conducts risk assessments, and implements mitigation plans while developing over-arching strategies and processes to ensure environmental, health and safety program objectives are met.
Responsibilities:
61 Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
61 Understanding and analyzing EHS data and information (e.g. EHS laws, regulations, benchmarking studies, industry best practices) and developing and implement designed programs to achieve global and area level EHS goals or objectives
61 Partner with stakeholders (Security, Facilities, HR, Business teams, etc.) to ensure information on EHS policies is communicated, implemented and executed upon among employees, vendors and third-party contractors.
61 Manage injury/illness and incident management process.
61 Conducting risk assessments of Amazon’s existing portfolio of corporate offices, identifying sources of EHS risk and developing remediation and mitigation plans.
61 Assisting in the response to emergencies and significant disruptive events impacting corporate office buildings.
61 Develop processes and procedures related to EHS for designated areas whenever needed.
61 Develop annual EHS improvement plans, aligned with the Businesses strategic direction.
61 Other EHS-related tasks assigned by Amazon.
61 All other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields (Engineering, Science or EHS related qualifications). Five plus years’ experience in Environment, Health, and Safety.
61 Professional qualifications in EHS (Local or international) and familiar with office EHS.
61 Deep understanding of EHS management system and EHS risk management.
61 Proficient in Mandarin, good English written and verbal skills.
61 Experience in fast paced, changing/growing organization.
61 Ability to learn and adapt well to a fast-paced environment with changing circumstances, direction and strategy.
61 Demonstrable experience with developing regional level EHS procedures and processes.
61 Knowledge of emergency preparedness and management in commercial facilities.
61 Experience in supporting EHS in commercial offices and construction or renovation of commercial facilities is an advantage.
61 Work experience in a multinational organization is an added advantage.
61 Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability.
61 Result-oriented and communicate with stakeholders proactively.
61 Experience in prioritizing tasks to deliver results.
61 Quickly learning and mastering new tools, software, and systems.
61 Adapting seamlessly to changes in priorities, requirements, or ways of working.
